Seizo Kawamoto established “Kawamoto Pump” in Oikecho, Naka ward, Nagoya.
Manufactured and sold hand pumps.
1949
Company was reorganized and incorporated as Kawamoto Pump Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
Seizo Kawamoto appointed company president.
1952
Shuzo Kawamoto appointed company president.
1954
Launched “BABY SWEET”, Japan’s first compact self-suction 100W electric pump for household use. Started selling household pumps.
1961
Factory given JIS approval for electric well pumps.
1962
Launched “NEW BABY PUMP” for household use.
1966
Built 56,000 m2 Okazaki Factory in Hashime-cho, Okazaki, Aichi
1973
Completed construction of new head office in 4-chome, Ohsu, Naka-ku, Nagoya.
1980
Factory given JIS factory approval for compact centrifugal pump.
1983
Launched “KAWA ACE” N2.
1987
Received “Good Design award” for “KAWA ACE” N2.
1991
Launched “NEW KAWA ACE” N3.
1996
Received Chairman Prize of ECCJ for “PUMPER KF” (6th Energy-saving Vanguard 21)
1999
Launched “SEISHONAGON” small-scale residential booster pump.

Launched “KAWA TARO” (product with eco mark) rainwater use device.
Obtained ISO9001 certification for Okazaki Factory.
2001
Launched “NEW SOFT KAWA ACE” NF2 household pump. Obtained ISO14001 certification for Okazaki Factory. Received naming award for “SEISHONAGON”.
2002
Received Energy Conservation Grand Prize for excellent energy conservation equipment and Director General Prize of Agency of Natural Resources and Energy for “NEW SOFT KAWA ACE” NF2. Satoru Takatsu appointed company president.

Obtained year 2000 ISO9001 certification for head office and Okazaki Factory

Obtained ISO14001 certification for head office.

Launched “KAWA ACE JET” JF shallow/deep-well pump for household use.

Launched “DRAGON” HDS stainless steel hand pump.

Launched “KVF” inverter water supply unit for skyscraper.

Launched “KTT” fire pump unit for special facility sprinkler connected to water supply.

Launched “BABY SWEET” SFR(H) hot-water supply auxiliary pressurization unit, MJ sterilization unit.

Began KAWAMOTO PUMP “Comfort Earth” corporate activities to improve the earth’s environment through water.
2013
Launched NF2-K “SOFT KAWA ACE” with variable operating mode function, “PUMPER KFE” super energy-saving automatic water supply unit.
2014
Received 2014 Aichi environment award (Nagoya mayor award) for “PUMPER KFE”.
Received 2014 Good Design award for HDS40 “DRAGON”.
2015
Received Agency of Natural Resources and Energy Director’s Award at The 35th Energy-Efficient Machinery Award for “PUMPER KFE”
